Pennsylvania Senator Fetterman and Wife Recovering After Maryland Car Crash

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman and his wife, Giselle, are currently recovering after being involved in a car crash in western Maryland over the weekend.

The incident occurred on Sunday morning on the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 at Interstate 68 in Hancock. Maryland State Police reported that Sen. Fetterman was driving a Chevrolet Traverse when he rear-ended a Chevrolet Impala for reasons yet to be determined.

Following the crash, both Sen. Fetterman and Giselle were promptly taken to War Memorial Hospital in West Virginia for evaluation. Sen. Fetterman received treatment for a bruised shoulder and was later discharged, as stated by his office. No citations have been issued thus far, with Maryland State Police confirming that an active investigation is ongoing.

In a statement released by his office, Sen. Fetterman expressed gratitude for the well wishes and confirmed that he and Giselle are now back in Braddock, Pennsylvania, and are in good spirits.
