Eagles Vs Rams Nfl Game

The Philadelphia Eagles are in Los Angeles to face the Los Angeles Rams in a highly anticipated Sunday Night Football matchup. The Eagles, boasting an 8-2 record, are looking to secure another victory against the 5-5 Rams.

For the Eagles, there are a few key roster changes and injury updates. Wide receiver and punt returner Britain Covey is set to be active for the game. He has been sidelined since suffering a shoulder injury in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints. Defensive back Cooper DeJean has been serving as the punt returner in Covey’s absence, with a noteworthy average of 11.8 yards per return, ranking him second in the NFC.

C.J. Uzomah, a tight end, has been elevated from the practice squad for his second consecutive game with the Eagles. Uzomah participated in three offensive snaps during his debut last Thursday against Washington. Another roster update involves wide receiver DeVonta Smith, who will be inactive due to a hamstring injury sustained during the Washington game. This marks the second game this season that Smith will miss.

The Eagles’ active receivers for the game against the Rams include A.J. Brown, Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson, Ainias Smith, and Covey. The full list of inactive players for the Eagles is as follows: Nick Gates (OL), Trevor Keegan (G), Darian Kinnard (T/G), Tanner McKee (3rd QB), Eli Ricks (CB), and DeVonta Smith (WR).

The Rams are also dealing with significant injuries, including right tackle Rob Havenstein, who will miss his third consecutive game due to an ankle injury. Despite head coach Sean McVay expressing optimism about Havenstein’s recovery, the player was declared doubtful earlier in the week. Warren McClendon Jr. appears next in line on the Rams’ unofficial depth chart to cover for Havenstein, though Joe Noteboom initially stepped in before suffering an ankle injury himself.

Additional absences for the Rams include cornerback Charles Woods and offensive lineman KT Leveston, both of whom were declared out. Woods is sidelined after a warm-up injury in Week 10, while Leveston remains inactive despite having his 21-day practice window opened.

The Rams’ inactive players list includes Stetson Bennett (QB), Rob Havenstein (OL), Brennan Jackson (OLB), Desjuan Johnson (DE), Dylan McMahon (OL), Cody Schrader (RB), and Charles Woods (CB).
