The Philadelphia Union Academy‘s U15 team celebrated a remarkable achievement as forward Malik Jakupovic’s sensational performance led them to a resounding 5-1 victory over FC United.

Jakupovic’s four-goal extravaganza, with two goals in each half, propelled the Baby Snakes ahead, while Samuel Gallegos also found the back of the net to establish a commanding 3-1 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Jakupovic continued his scoring spree, ensuring there was no comeback for FC United who only managed to score from the penalty spot. The defensive prowess of Henry Apaloo and the entire Union side held firm, denying FC United any chances from open play.

The Philadelphia Union U15s will now face off against the LA Galaxy in the Round of 16 after the Galaxy triumphed over Charlotte FC in a 2-1 victory. The upcoming match is set for Monday, June 17th at 10:30 AM ET, promising an exciting clash between two talented youth teams.
