Pizza Hut, a well-known player in the fast-food industry, is enhancing its holiday offerings with a unique twist by introducing a product that might surprise many – Tomato Wine. The global pizza chain announced that the wine would be available as part of its holiday takeout solutions, promising customers an intriguing pairing option alongside pizza.

As detailed in a statement to Food & Wine, Pizza Hut described the Tomato Wine as a drink that «captures the essence of your favorite slice in every sip.» This new offering comes as the brand also reintroduces its celebrated Triple Treat Box, providing consumers the chance to enjoy both pizza and wine in one pickup.

Elyse Slaton, Pizza Hut’s director of advertising, emphasized the novelty factor of this beverage in an official statement. «The holidays are a time for many gatherings, but often, the gift of a bottle of wine can feel expected. Why not be the one to bring the pizza party with the gift of pizza wine and a Triple Treat Box designed to ignite fun and conversation,» Slaton stated. She highlighted Pizza Hut’s tradition of pioneering firsts, noting how the brand aims to «spark intrigue and create a more memorable holiday pizza party.»

The Tomato Wine is crafted from «ripe, juicy tomatoes and infused with natural basil.» It is produced in collaboration with Just Beyond Paradise Winery, a family-owned vineyard located in Kansas. According to Pizza Hut, the wine «offers an aromatic blend of fresh herbs and spices with rich, sun-ripened tomato notes and a subtle hint of toasted oak,» evoking the experience of a perfectly baked pizza crust. The company noted that the wine shares similarities with white wine and is best served chilled.

This wine is available in a limited-edition gift set, which includes a bottle, two Pizza Hut branded wine glasses, and a wine opener. It is claimed to pair «perfectly with Pizza Hut’s festive Triple Treat Box.» The Triple Treat Box itself contains two medium one-topping pizzas, breadsticks or cheese sticks (with an additional charge for cheese sticks), and a choice of dessert.

The new Tomato Wine is priced at $25 per bottle, though a minimum purchase of two bottles is required. The gift set retails for $60. These offerings are available beginning today, while the Triple Treat Box is available at participating Pizza Hut locations nationwide, starting at $19.99.
