POCO Launches M6 Plus 5G Smartphone and Buds X1 in India
POCO, Xiaomi’s spinoff smartphone brand, has just unveiled its new M6 Plus 5G smartphone in India. Alongside this launch, the company introduced the Buds X1 wireless earbuds, making quite a splash in the tech world.
The POCO M6 Plus 5G features a sleek glass design with a ring flash and runs on the robust Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen2 AE chipset. The Buds X1 are designed as budget-friendly options, boasting hybrid noise cancellation and various sound profiles for audiophiles.
In terms of pricing, the M6 Plus 5G comes in two variants: the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option is priced at Rs 13,499, while the 8GB RAM model will set you back Rs 14,499. It’ll be available in three stylish colors: Ice Silver, Misty Lavender, and Graphite Black.
Starting August 5, consumers can grab the POCO M6 Plus 5G and Buds X1 from Flipkart. On the initial sale day, buyers will enjoy an instant discount of Rs 1,000 when using SBI, HDFC, or ICICI bank cards. Additionally, there’s a Rs 500 coupon available for the base model during this launch promotion.
The smartphone boasts a 6.79-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it a treat for gamers. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection and is rated IP53 for water and dust resistance. Powering the device is a 5030mAh battery that supports 33W charging, ensuring you’re always connected.

With Bluetooth 5.3 ensuring stable connections and an easy pairing process, the Buds X1 also holds an IP54 rating, protecting them from dust and water splashes. They’ll retail at an introductory price of Rs 1,699, but this pricing is expected to change over time.
