Today, on August 16, 2024, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has released the city slip for the upcoming UP Police Constable exam. Candidates who have applied for these positions can check and download their exam city slips from the official UPPBPB website, uppbpb.gov.in.

However, the official website seems to be facing some issues right now and may not be accessible at the moment. In addition, candidates can also use a direct link to view their exam city slip. It’s important to note that the admit cards for the examination will be available three days before the exam.

The UP Police Constable recruitment exam is scheduled to take place on several dates: August 23, 24, 25, and then again on the 30th and 31st. The exams will be conducted at various centers across the state.

This examination will happen in two shifts. The first shift is set to run from 10 AM to 12 PM, while the second shift will be from 3 PM to 5 PM. The gap between the exams is due to the holiday on August 26 for Janmashtami.

Previously, the UP Police Constable exam was held on February 17 and 18, 2024, in four shifts but was canceled on February 24 due to a leaked question paper. The state government instructed that the exam must be conducted again within six months.

This recruitment drive is for filling a total of 60,244 constable positions in the UP Police.

To download the UP Police Exam City Slip, candidates should follow these simple steps: Visit the UPPBPB official site, click on the link for the Exam City Slip, enter the required details, and then your slip will be displayed on the screen for downloading.

Candidates should keep in mind that the city slip is not the admit card. The admit card will be released a few days before the exam and is essential for entry.
