Post Malone Concert Draws Massive Crowd, Forces Closure of Festival Site in Quebec
Post Malone‘s highly anticipated performance at the Festival d’été de Québec on Friday evening drew a massive crowd, leading to the closure of the festival site due to overwhelming numbers.
By 8:30 pm, festival organizers had already alerted attendees to head towards the Cap-Blanc entrance to ease their access. However, a few minutes later, another announcement was made, stating the closure of the site.
With hundreds of thousands of people gathered, a dense crowd formed at the entry point near the Croix du sacrifice for Post Malone’s only stop in Canada, creating a challenge for event management.
Simultaneously, significant queues also formed at the Cap-Blanc entrance as fans eagerly awaited the performance by the 29-year-old American artist.
While the Plaines d’Abraham had not yet been closed earlier in the day, the overwhelming turnout for Post Malone’s show led to the decision to shut down the area, despite other performances by 50 Cent and The Offspring attracting their own sizable audiences.
