Prabhas starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Continues Strong Box Office Run on Day 2

On the second day of its release, the movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD‘, featuring Prabhas in the lead role, continued its successful box office run across India.

The dystopian sci-fi film, directed by Nag Ashwin and starring Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, witnessed strong performance in the state of Kerala, particularly in regions like Thrissur and Kollam.

According to reports, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ earned a significant amount of Rs 54 crore on its second day, with a notable collection of Rs 2 crore in Kerala alone.

The film showcased an overall Malayalam occupancy rate of 31.84% on June 28, with varying percentages in different time slots, ranging from morning shows to evening and night shows.

Key regions in Kerala, such as Kochi, Trivandrum, Kozhikode, Thrissur, Kollam, Kottayam, and Alappuzha, reported promising occupancy rates on the second day, reflecting the strong audience interest in the film.

Starring Prabhas alongside a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ also features notable actors like Shobhana, Keerthy Suresh, Anna Ben, Pasupathy, Saswata Chatterjee, SS Rajamouli, Brahmanandam, Rajendra Prasad, Gaurav Chopra, and Malvika Nair in pivotal roles.
