Princess Anne is reportedly taking the time to teach her grandniece, Princess Charlotte, the ins and outs of being a princess within the Royal Family. This ‘crash course’ in royal etiquette comes as Charlotte, now nine years old, has been stepping into the public eye more frequently.

Recently, Charlotte attended Wimbledon with her mother, Kate, where she mingled with guests and key figures. An insider shared with Woman magazine that Princess Anne, who is 73, is helping Charlotte navigate the finer points of royal protocol.

The source stated that Anne’s instruction isn’t just about traditional things like curtsies. She’s teaching Charlotte how to start and end conversations gracefully, a skill that Kate found tricky when she first became part of the royal family. Charlotte, however, seems to be picking it up quite naturally.

This insider also mentioned that both Kate and William are pleased with Anne’s involvement. They feel there isn’t a better role model for Charlotte than Anne, who is known for her strong work ethic and unwavering support for the King.

Anne has also been instrumental in providing guidance to Kate, especially when she was navigating her early years in royal life. Now, she aims to provide that same kind of straightforward support to Charlotte.

The news of Anne mentoring Charlotte comes shortly after she returned to royal duties following a concussion from a horse-riding accident. Recently, she has also been seen at the Paris Olympics, cheering on Team GB, including British swimmer Adam Peaty who won silver in the 100m breaststroke.

As part of her role, Anne even joined Mick Jagger in sending off the British Olympic team, wishing them success while encouraging them to enjoy the experience.
