In the world of Telugu cinema, Ram‘s latest film, ‘Double iSmart’, directed by Puri Jagannadh, has hit the screens and is generating quite a buzz.

This movie is a sequel to the much-loved ‘iSmart Shankar’, which introduced audiences to a unique twist in its storytelling.

This time around, Ram steps back into his role as iSmart Shankar, but things take an interesting turn when Sanjay Dutt joins the cast as the formidable villain, Big Bull.

The story follows Big Bull, who lives a life of luxury abroad while plotting to divide India. But, after learning that he has only a few months to live, he sets his sights on iSmart Shankar, hoping to transfer his memories into Ram’s character.

While the plot sounds intriguing, critics argue that the movie lacks the depth and creativity that fans were expecting. Instead of fresh twists, it rides on a somewhat clichéd narrative.

Ram’s performance has received mixed feedback. Some say he embodies the role with energy and charisma, especially during dance and action scenes, but others feel he missed an opportunity to showcase his range in such a unique role.

Kavya Thapar, the leading lady, has been praised for her charm and dance skills, making her a fitting choice in Puri’s typical hero-heroine dynamic.

On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt’s character, while imposing, seems to lack depth, leaving some viewers wanting more from his portrayal.

Fans of Puri Jagannadh and Ram will likely have different takes on the film, but it’s clear that ‘Double iSmart’ may not hit the mark for everyone.
