Ravi Teja’s Film ‘Mr. Bachchan’ Gets CBFC Approval
Ravi Teja‘s upcoming film, ‘Mr. Bachchan‘, has just received the green light from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film is set to hit theaters on August 15, coinciding with India’s Independence Day.
However, the film didn’t come without its adjustments. The CBFC has requested several edits before granting the film a ‘U/A’ certificate. Notably, a scene featuring a young child smoking was altered, replacing the cigarette with a pencil. Additionally, some graphic content and specific curse words were either muted or modified.
One major change involves a poster that originally featured iconic Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha. Following the CBFC’s directives, this poster has been replaced with one showing Amitabh Bachchan and his wife, Jaya Bachchan.
These edits were finalized just two days before the film’s release, with the certification indicating that ‘Mr. Bachchan’ has a runtime of 158 minutes, or approximately 2 hours and 38 minutes. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how this adaptation unfolds on screen.
‘Mr. Bachchan’ is the official remake of the Hindi film ‘Raid’, which starred Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’Cruz when it was released back in 2018. Produced by T.G. Vishwaprasad, the film promises to be a must-watch for Ravi Teja fans.
