GT Resources Inc. has announced the commencement of drilling activities at the Canalask Nickel-Copper Project, located in Toronto, Ontario. The project aims to target electromagnetic (EM) anomalies and locate massive nickel-copper sulphide mineralization.

The first drill hole, under the supervision of President and CEO Derrick Weyrauch, is focused on a significant EM Maxwell plate in the feeder dyke near the Historic Resource Estimate area. The site contains 1.35% nickel in 400kt, with potential for copper mineralization.

Plans for the project include drilling up to 2,000 meters and conducting downhole EM surveys to identify massive sulphide deposits, specifically copper-nickel mineralization in the main body of the feeder dyke.

The project is set in the «White River Intrusive Complex» (WRIC), recognized as a favorable setting for magmatic nickel-copper sulphide mineralization. This location is comparable to the renowned Norilsk Ni-Cu-PGE camp, known for its rich mineral deposits.

GT Resources’ portfolio includes the Läntinen Koillismaa (LK) Project in Finland, which hosts NI43-101 Mineral Resources, and the Tyko and Canalask high-grade nickel-copper projects in Ontario and the Yukon. The company is dedicated to producing critical Green Transportation Metals with a focus on achieving Net-Zero Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions throughout its operations.

The technical details of the project have been verified by Neil Pettigrew, Vice President of Exploration, and a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101 regulations.
