Revamped 2025 Rivian R1 Series Unleashes Innovative Features

Rivian has introduced the redesigned 2025 R1 series, enhancing its R1S and R1T electric vehicles with cutting-edge features. While the exterior of the vehicles remains familiar, Rivian has upgraded over half of the hardware elements, including battery and electrical architecture.

The new models boast a significant boost in computing power, thanks to dual Nvidia DRIVE Orin processors. This enhanced system enables advanced driver-assistance capabilities, such as hands-free driving, with continuous driver attention still required.

Rivian’s move to enhance its current lineup comes as the company aims to drive sales of its flagship models before the launch of the more affordable R2 vehicles. The company has made strategic operational changes, including cost reductions and plant optimizations, to streamline production and reduce expenses.

The 2025 R1S and R1T models offer improved driving range and performance, with deliveries set to commence immediately. The vehicles come in various motor configurations and battery pack options, catering to different driving needs and preferences.

With pricing starting at $75,900 for the R1S and $69,900 for the R1T, the new models present an array of technological advancements and luxury interior upgrades.
