Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes Make Rare Public Appearance Together

Celebrity couple Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes were recently spotted enjoying a day out at the Olympics in Paris. This is a rare joint appearance for the pair, who have been together since 2011.

On August 4, they attended the dressage individual Grand Prix freestyle competition at the stunning Chateau de Versailles. Photos from the event show Gosling dressed casually in a red plaid shirt, white Olympics hat, and translucent shades. Mendes looked stylish as ever in her black dress and white sunglasses, topped with a chic straw sun hat.

Later that day, the couple moved on to the women’s gymnastics uneven bars final at Bercy Stadium. While there, Gosling switched his white cap for some green Olympics merch. The two were spotted enjoying the event, with Gosling having his arm wrapped around Mendes as they cheered on Team USA gymnast Suni Lee.

In a lively moment during the live broadcast, an NBC sports commentator couldn’t help but admire them, saying, “They’re so cool.” Gosling and Mendes have two daughters together—Esmeralda Amada, who is 9, and Amada Lee, who is 8. The girls appeared to be with them, though their faces were blurred in the photos shared by Getty Images.

Interestingly, Gosling and Mendes have kept their marital status mostly under wraps. Mendes revealed in an interview last November that they were married, though it’s unclear when the wedding took place. She even has a ‘de Gosling’ tattoo on her wrist.

Mendes has been open about her choice to step back from acting in order to focus on raising their children. She mentioned that it was a «no-brainer» for her. Meanwhile, Gosling recently spoke about how fatherhood has influenced his career choices, saying he makes decisions with Mendes and their family in mind first.

The couple’s relationship has been a topic of interest for fans, especially with Gosling’s recent success in the movie “Barbie.” He was even nominated for best supporting actor at the Academy Awards this past March and has shared how important it is to have Mendes and their kids travel with him during filming.
