Rylan Clark Dating Naked Uk Show

Rylan Clark has publicly defended his new show, Dating Naked UK, following criticism labeling it as ‘disgraceful’ upon its release on Paramount+. In an appearance on This Morning, Rylan described the show as ‘dating, but laid bare,’ drawing comparisons to Love Island, noting, ‘it’s like Love Island without the bikinis.’

The series features ten singles seeking romance in a tropical setting while remaining completely naked. Contestants encounter various challenges as new arrivals disrupt existing relationships.

Rylan stated, ‘You see absolutely everything, and all the reviews today from the same reviewers that give me five stars for my last show on Two are like “This is disgraceful”.’ He emphasized that the nature of the show is meant to display dating in its most stripped-down form.

When questioned by co-host Joel about contestants experiencing physical reactions, Rylan turned the discussion towards the crew’s extensive levels of care to ensure the cast felt comfortable throughout filming.

‘The duty of care on this show was unlike anything I’d seen before,’ he remarked, praising both the producers and the welfare team for their efforts. He noted that many of the participants are ordinary individuals rather than exhibitionists.

Rylan further teased that viewers can expect numerous plot twists, stating, ‘There is a lot of twists and turns along the way,’ and even revealed that several couples formed during the initial filming in February are still together.

In addition to the controversies, contestant Lauren shared her experience candidly, saying, ‘I did have sex on the show — a lot of us did.’ She asserted that being naked fosters a deeper connection, adding, ‘I think you get to know people better being naked all the time. There’s no judgment.’

Another contestant, Billy, echoed her sentiments, implying that the initial shock of everyone being naked quickly dissipated as the season progressed. Participant Dan expressed surprise at the emotional bonds formed, stating, ‘There was a lot of sex in the villa but it wasn’t casual, there were feelings involved.’

Paramount+ has positioned an on-site intimacy coach to support contestants throughout the process. The first U.S. version of Dating Naked aired three seasons before its cancellation, while the UK’s series is positioned to engage audiences without any pixelation or blurring of nudity.
