A Nonsense Christmas Sabrina Carpenter Event

Sabrina Carpenter is set to debut a new holiday special titled ‘A Nonsense Christmas’ on December 6. The special event, available on Netflix, is expected to feature an array of musical duets and an impressive lineup of celebrity appearances. Notable musical guests participating in the event include Shania Twain and Kali Uchis. In addition, a range of actors will appear in scripted roles, including Quinta Brunson as the Ghost of Present and Sean Astin dressed as Santa Claus.

The director of the holiday special is Sam Wrench, who is known for directing a 2023 concert film. Wrench brings his expertise to ‘A Nonsense Christmas,’ promising a special filled with holiday classics alongside Sabrina Carpenter’s holiday hits. According to a press release from Netflix, the event will include «show-stopping music performances, comedic guests, unexpected duets, plus many more surprises and fun cameos.»

‘A Nonsense Christmas’ showcases a star-studded cast beyond its musical guests. The lineup features Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Nico Hiraga, Megan Stalter, Owen Thiele, and Jillian Bell. Both Sabrina Carpenter and her sister Sarah Carpenter serve as executive producers on the project. They are joined by Bill Perlman, Janelle Lopez Genzink, Michael D. Ratner, Scott Ratner, Simone Spira, and Kfir Goldberg from OBB Pictures.

In anticipation of the special’s release, a trailer was premiered at Carpenter’s final U.S. concert for her ‘Emails I Can’t Send’ tour, held at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. This provided fans with an early glimpse at the highly-anticipated holiday event before she embarks on the UK and European leg of her tour, beginning March 3, 2025, in Dublin.
