Actors Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. recently celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary, marking a significant milestone in their long-lasting relationship.

The couple commemorated the occasion on social media by sharing a heartfelt photo on Instagram, depicting them smiling and embracing on a beachfront balcony, accompanied by a caption simply stating, “22.”

Gellar, 47, and Prinze, 48, first met while filming the 1997 horror movie ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer.’ Their friendship blossomed into romance three years later, culminating in their marriage on September 1, 2002.

They are proud parents to two children: Charlotte Grace, 14, and Rocky James, 11. Despite their Hollywood backgrounds, Gellar and Prinze choose to maintain a low profile while also pursuing their acting careers.

Gellar is set to appear in an upcoming Paramount+ series debuting in December, while Prinze recently starred in the murder mystery ‘The Girl in the Pool,’ which reunited him with his co-star Monica Potter.

They exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Mexico surrounded by family and friends, with Gellar wearing a stunning Vera Wang gown.
