In a surprising turn of events, Sekhukhune United has decided to part ways with their German coach, Peter Hyballa, just six weeks after he took over the team’s management.

Hyballa’s short stint was marked by an alleged scandal and conflicts within the coaching staff and players, making it tough for him to settle in. The club announced his resignation just an hour before midnight on Saturday, leaving fans wondering about the future direction of the team.

With Hyballa gone, Sekhukhune United is reportedly looking to bring back former coach Lehlohonolo Seema. Seema had a successful run with the team, guiding them from a 14th place finish to a respectable fourth last season.

While the team is currently under the care of assistant coach McDonald Makhubedu, talks are already underway with Seema, who could soon return to the club. Those close to the situation say Seema is eager to come back, as he feels there’s still work left to do.

The club’s management believes that Seema, familiar with the players and the club’s dynamics, could help carry the momentum forward as preparations begin for the Betway Premiership that kicks off in mid-September.
