Mallory Mcmorrow Oversized Book Dnc

At the Democratic National Convention, Michigan State Senator Mallory McMorrow made a bold statement by bringing an oversized book to the stage. This book was a representation of ‘Project 2025,’ a Republican blueprint for Donald Trump‘s potential second term.

With a mix of seriousness and humor, McMorrow quoted from the book, saying, ‘So we read it. Whatever you think it might be, it is so much worse.’ Her words highlighted the policies outlined in the text, which she argued could grant Trump dictatorial powers, such as firing civil servants and weaponizing the Justice Department against his political rivals.

Though Trump has distanced himself from the ideas in Project 2025, McMorrow’s display drew significant attention at a convention that is all about rallying support for the Democratic Party ahead of the 2024 election.

The event, taking place in Chicago, is gearing up for Vice President Kamala Harris, who is set to formally accept the party’s nomination later this week. The Democratic Convention aims to energize supporters with nightly themes focused on the future and the people.
