Shina Rambo Declares He’s Alive: A Notorious Robber’s Comeback
A shocking revelation has emerged from Nigeria as the infamous armed robber Shina Rambo, whose real name is Adekunle Lawal, claims he is very much alive. Rambo, known for his notorious criminal escapades in the 1990s, carried out daring bank heists and kidnappings that spread fear across the Southwest region.
Once a household name, Rambo’s gang operated with sophistication, using advanced weapons and a network of intelligence to execute their crimes. Their targets ranged from banks to factories and wealthy individuals. The notorious robber was arrested in 1995, but after a year in custody, he escaped and continued his criminal activities until he was finally captured in 1997.
After being tried and sentenced to death, it was reported that Rambo died in 2011 while serving his time in Lagos’ Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison due to natural causes. However, a recent interview on Fresh FM in Abeokuta has turned things upside down. Rambo boldly declared his survival, shocking listeners far and wide.
During the interview, he reflected on his past and the media’s role in shaping his story. He shared, “With all the declaration and announcement that they have captured Shina Rambo, what I want to tell the people of Abeokuta and the world at large is that people should pray that their lives are not used to pay the debt of another person’s life.” He believed many lives had been sacrificed for what happened to him.
He further explained how the narrative surrounding his capture often falsely placed the blame on him for crimes he did not commit. “If anyone did break and entry and he was captured, they will say Shina Rambo has been killed,” he said. He also claimed to have connections to many political parties and even the ability to transform into different identities.
Interestingly, Rambo now describes himself as a devout Christian who has turned away from his past life of crime. He stated, “All those spiritual powers are now in the past because all powers belong to Jesus.” He recalled an event where over 720 individuals, many of whom were also involved in crime, were inspired to give their lives to Jesus after seeing his transformation.
