Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade recently found himself at the center of a shocking death hoax. Just after appearing at the trailer launch for Kangana Ranaut‘s new film, ‘Emergency’ in Mumbai, false news about his passing began circulating on social media.

In light of this rumor, Shreyas took to Instagram to clear the air and express how upsetting the fake news had been for him and his family, especially his young daughter. In his post, he emphasized that he is ‘ALIVE, HAPPY, and HEALTHY.’

Shreyas shared how such rumors might start off as a joke, but they can quickly escalate to create real worry and distress. He mentioned that his daughter is particularly anxious about his health and has been asking him constant questions since the rumors began.

He reflected on how the false information deepens her fears and leads to awkward questions at school from her peers and teachers. As a parent, he finds it disheartening to manage these emotional challenges due to something out of their control.

In his heartfelt message, Shreyas urged people to think twice before sharing such harmful content. He noted, ‘When you spread such rumors, it affects not only the person targeted, but also their family.’ He appreciated those who reached out to check on him during this troubling time.

To the trolls, he made a simple yet powerful request: ‘please stop. Don’t joke around at the cost of others.’ His message was loud and clear, asking everyone to be mindful of the impact of their actions, especially when it comes to sensitive topics like health and well-being.

As a notable figure, Shreyas will be portraying the role of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the film ‘Emergency’, which is set to hit theaters on September 6.
