SMU vs. Nevada Set to Kick Off College Football Season
Reno, Nevada – The 2024 college football season is set to commence with an exciting matchup between the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Mustangs and the University of Nevada Wolf Pack on Saturday, August 24.
The game will mark the head coaching debut of Jeff Choate for the Wolf Pack, who are looking to bounce back from a challenging season in which they finished with a 2-10 overall record and tied for 10th place in the Mountain West Conference with a 2-6 record.

Additionally, senior linebacker on the Wolf Pack’s defense recorded 53 tackles in 2023, demonstrating his ability to make significant defensive plays, including forced fumbles and a season-high eight tackles during a matchup last season.
