Seattle sports enthusiasts attending the upcoming Sunday Mariners game can take advantage of special transit services provided by Sound Transit. In addition to Link light rail, ST Express, and King County Metro options, Sounder trains will be running to and from T-Mobile Park for the game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

On Sunday, July 7, fans can board the inbound Sounder S Line train departing from Lakewood at 10:11 a.m., making stops at key stations before reaching King Street Station by 11:27 a.m. From the north, the inbound Sounder N Line train leaves Everett at 10:45 a.m., with stops in Mukilteo and Edmonds, arriving at King Street Station at 11:44 a.m.

After the game, both return trains will depart 45 minutes following the game’s conclusion. Commuters can sign up for automatic service alerts for T Line, Link light rail, Sounder, and ST Express routes to stay informed about any service interruptions, special event schedules, or weather-related disruptions.

The Link 1 Line, which runs every 10 minutes on weekends, serves 19 stations including Northgate, Roosevelt, University District, University of Washington, Capitol Hill, SODO, Beacon Hill, Rainier Valley, Tukwila SeaTac, and Angle Lake. Stations like Stadium and International District are a short walk from the ballpark.

Furthermore, passengers coming from the Eastside can utilize the Link 2 Line to connect with bus routes serving the stadium area. Schedules for Link and ST Express buses can be found online, along with information on King County Metro bus routes.

For convenient travel, commuters are encouraged to obtain an ORCA card to avoid lines at ticket vending machines. ORCA cards, available for a nominal fee, provide a hassle-free way to pay for transit trips on trains, buses, and ferries across the region. Special fares like ORCA LIFT and Reduced Fare permits are also available for eligible customers.

With these options in place, Sound Transit aims to enhance the game day experience for Mariners fans, offering a seamless and efficient travel solution to and from T-Mobile Park.
