Telegram Outage Sparks Reaction Frenzy Among Users
Telegram, a popular social media messaging platform, experienced a service outage leading to severe restrictions on messaging, downloads, and logins for over 6,700 users. Reports from outage detector website claimed complaints of inability to perform any Telegram-related actions, affecting nearly 30% of app-related issues.
Complaints emerged from various regions including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, Patna, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, among others. Upon attempting to reconnect after going offline, many faced connectivity issues, prompting multiple installations and re-installations of the app without realizing the platform was down.
As users worldwide were affected, encompassing not only India but also Asia and Europe, Telegram’s services seemed to have been impacted significantly. The platform had not experienced such a disruption until now.
The Telegram outage triggered a flurry of memes on Twitter as users expressed their disbelief upon realizing that the issues were not isolated to their own accounts but were instead platform-wide.
