Terror Attack in Reasi: Bus Carrying Pilgrims Falls into Ditch, Many Lives Lost in Jammu & Kashmir
At least nine people have been killed and 33 injured in a terrorist attack in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his concern and directed Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to closely monitor the situation and provide necessary assistance to the affected families.
The incident occurred when a bus carrying pilgrims from the Shiv Khori Temple skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge. The terrorists opened fire on the bus, leading to the driver losing control and the tragic accident.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha assured that all efforts are being made to track down the perpetrators of this heinous act. He also emphasized on providing the best medical care to the injured victims.
President Droupadi Murmu offered her condolences to the families of the deceased pilgrims and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured individuals. Union Minister Amit Shah and Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Mallikarjun Kharge strongly condemned the cowardly attack and pledged justice for the victims.
