Adding fuel to the fire, Facebook’s co-founder, Dustin Moskovitz, took a jab at Tesla by comparing it to the infamous Enron. Enron, once a powerhouse in the energy sector, faced bankruptcy in 2001 amidst financial scandals and fraud accusations against its CEO.

Recent reports hint at a scrutiny of Tesla’s Full Self-Driving software or Autopilot. Moskovitz criticized Tesla for allegedly providing false information about their cars’ range and self-driving capabilities, hinting at possible legal consequences.

In response, Musk posted a photo on X app, indirectly insulting Moskovitz. He later expressed regret for calling Moskovitz «retard,» branding him as an arrogant fool, and extending wishes for possible friendship in the future.

The feud escalates as more individuals file cases against Tesla for misleading details about driving range. With regulators extending investigations, the spotlight intensifies on Tesla’s autopilot software amid recent accidents involving Tesla vehicles.
