Thomas Rhett and Hardee’s Host Hurricane Relief Event in Georgia
Country music superstar Thomas Rhett partnered with Hardee’s and the non-profit organization Caring for Others to host a tailgate-style event aimed at raising funds for hurricane relief. The event took place on November 16, 2024, outside a Hardee’s restaurant in Danielsville, Georgia, according to a press release.
The gathering featured a range of activities including games, music, and food, in addition to airing the college football game between Georgia and Tennessee, creating a true tailgating atmosphere. The event was a platform for the local community to engage with and support ongoing hurricane relief efforts.
Sarah Breymaier, Hardee’s Vice President of Brand Marketing, highlighted the company’s commitment to aiding communities affected by Hurricane Helene, which impacted more than 100 Hardee’s locations and 2,000 of its team members. «Hardee’s restaurants are staples in our hometowns, so this cause hits close to home for us. We’re thankful to partner with organizations like Caring For Others,» said Breymaier.
Caring for Others’ Founder and CEO, Eslene Richmond-Shockley, emphasized the organization’s mission to eradicate poverty and assist those affected by natural disasters. «Natural disasters pose a huge threat to those who are already suffering,» she stated. «We aim to activate immediately when disaster strikes, delivering supplies and resources where they’re most needed.»
Thomas Rhett engaged with fans by signing autographs and posing for photos, while highlighting the importance of community support in disaster relief efforts. His involvement, alongside Hardee’s and Caring for Others, underscored the collaborative spirit required to enhance recovery initiatives for hurricane-affected areas.
