Tiwa Savage Releases Soundtrack Album for Debut Feature Film ‘Water & Garri’

Singer, songwriter, and actor Tiwa Savage has released the soundtrack album for her upcoming debut feature film ‘Water & Garri’.

Ahead of the soundtrack album release, Tiwa Savage dropped the single ‘Lost Time’ produced by Khari ‘Needlz’ Cain and co-produced by Poo Bear.

The immersive soundtrack album features 10 original songs with guest appearances from various artists in the Afropop, R&B, and Hip Hop genres.

Notable artists featured on the album include ASA, Richard Bona, and Zacardi, bringing a blend of different talents to the project.

Other guest artists on the soundtrack include Cortez, Black Sherif, Reekado Banks, Young Jonn, Mystro Sugar, and The Cavemen.

With the release of the ‘Water & Garri’ film and soundtrack, Tiwa Savage marks a significant milestone in her career by taking on her first lead acting role and serving as the Executive Producer of the movie.

The film follows the story of Aisha, played by Tiwa Savage, as she navigates the challenges of returning to her hometown after living abroad for ten years.

As Aisha reconnects with her past and deals with the changes in her community, she must confront her inner struggles and face the reality of her past decisions.

The tracklist of the ‘Water & Garri’ album soundtrack offers a diverse mix of songs that complement the narrative of the film, featuring collaborations with various artists.
