TOCA Football Partners with MLS to Showcase Youth Talent at All-Star Skills Challenge
TOCA Football has forged a groundbreaking partnership with Major League Soccer to bring attention to young soccer talent at the highly anticipated All-Star Skills Challenge, presented by AT&T. The event will feature youth athletes showcasing their skills alongside the brightest stars from LIGA MX and MLS.
The winners of the TOCA Skills Showcase, conducted at various TOCA Centers, have been selected to participate in the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge. Representing different age groups, these young talents will come from regions across the United States, including Nashville, Seattle, and San Jose.
TOCA Football, renowned for its state-of-the-art technology and soccer training programs, focuses on developing essential skills like first touch, passing accuracy, and speed of play through repetition and interactive challenges.
Former MLS player and TOCA founder, Eddie Lewis, expressed his excitement about the partnership, drawing from his experiences as an All-Star player in 1999. Lewis highlighted the importance of quality training, which TOCA provides to young players.
The All-Star Skills Challenge will see young talents like Caden Valdez and Chance Tobin representing the East and West regions in on-field exhibitions. The experience will include participation in various All-Star events and culminate in a head-to-head competition at Lower.com Field, home of the MLS Cup champions, Columbus Crew.
Additionally, TOCA’s collaboration with MLS extends to clubs like FC Dallas, Atlanta United, Nashville SC, and Colorado Rapids, fostering youth development and enhancing training experiences for players at all levels.
