Defending champion Wyndham Clark is set to defend his title at the upcoming 2024 U.S. Open, taking place at the renowned Pinehurst Resort’s Course No. 2 in North Carolina from 13 to 16 June.

In what promises to be a thrilling competition, Clark will face off against top players like world number one Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Brooks Koepka, who are all eager to claim the prestigious major championship.

The lineup also features Olympic champion, Patrick Cantlay, fresh off his U.S. PGA Championship victory at Valhalla Golf Club, along with golf legend Tiger Woods who has earned a special exemption for the tournament.

Among the contenders looking to secure their first or add to their major tally are Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland, Bryson DeChambeau, Collin Morikawa, Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson, Max Homa, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, and Hideki Matsuyama.

The 156-player field for the US Open includes exemptions based on various categories, such as past champions, top scorers, and those in the top-60 of the Official World Golf Ranking.

Both men’s Olympic golf champions, Xander Schauffele and Justin Rose, are set to compete, with Schauffele aiming for his first major win and Rose, a former US Open champion, eyeing another title.

Fans around the world can catch the action across over 200 countries through digital livestreams and TV broadcasts, with viewers in the US able to tune in via platforms like Peacock, NBCSports.com, and the USGA App, while UK audiences can watch on Sky Sports.
