The Toronto Blue Jays have officially launched their new City Connect jerseys, drawing inspiration from the vibrant nightlife of the city. The unveiling took place at a star-studded event on King St. West in downtown Toronto.

Marnie Starkman, the Blue Jays’ executive vice president of business operations, emphasized that the design captures the essence of Toronto at night, with a dark blue base symbolizing the reflection of Lake Ontario after sunset.

The jersey features pops of bright blue and red outlining the iconic Toronto skyline, including landmarks such as the CN Tower and the beloved Rogers Centre.

Unique details include a subtle nod to Toronto’s diversity with the phrase ‘Diversity is Our Strength’ inside the collar, paying homage to the city’s coat of arms.

The Blue Jays will debut the City Connect jerseys during their upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, kicking off City Connect Week with exciting giveaways and special appearances from franchise legends.

Fans can get their hands on the new merchandise starting Friday morning at the Jays Shop, where José Bautista and Edwin Encarnación will make appearances to celebrate the launch.
