Toronto FC Signs Charlie Sharp on Short-Term Agreement

Toronto FC has officially announced the signing of Toronto FC II forward Charlie Sharp to an MLS short-term agreement for the upcoming match against Houston Dynamo FC.

This agreement allows clubs to temporarily sign players from their MLS NEXT Pro affiliate for various competitions, including MLS matches and cup tournaments.

Charlie Sharp, a 23-year-old forward, joined Toronto FC II on February 15, 2024. He has since made an impact, scoring four goals and providing one assist in 12 appearances for the Young Reds.

Sharp made his First Team debut on May 15 when he came on as a substitute during a match against Nashville SC. The forward hails from Brighton, Michigan, and was selected 61st overall in the third round of the 2023 MLS SuperDraft by Toronto FC.
