Trey McBride Sets New Record for Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride has made history in a matchup against the Seattle Seahawks during Week 12. McBride recorded his 50th catch of the season in the first quarter, marking a milestone as the first Cardinals tight end to achieve multiple seasons with over 50 catches, as per insights from Cardinals Communications Director, Mark Dalton. McBride’s accomplishment places him fifth for most receptions by a tight end in a single season for the Cardinals.
McBride’s performance continues to attract attention, including from his teammate, quarterback Kyler Murray, who earlier in the season praised him. «I think he’s the best. I’m not trying to get ahead of myself or anything or put any pressure on him. I know the work that he’s put in. I know what type of athlete he is, what type of player he is. It is good to see that people are taking notice of what he does each and every week when the ball is in his hands,» Murray stated.
Statistics support Murray’s commendation, as McBride is steadily establishing himself as a prominent figure not only within the Arizona Cardinals but also as one of the top players in the league.
