Troop A Honors Fallen Members at Memorial Day Ceremony

Troop A will hold their annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. The ceremony will honor members of Troop A who gave their lives in the performance of their duties. The event will take place at Troop A Headquarters located at 4525 West Saile Drive, Batavia, NY 14020. Media personnel are invited to attend the ceremony.

Among the fallen troopers being honored are James B. Losco, Arnold T. Rasmussen, Robert J. Roy, Homer J. Harrison, Thomas L. Corbett, Jerome B. Nugent, Earl R. Wilkinson, Harry A. Adams, and others who sacrificed their lives in service.

The ceremony will pay tribute to the valiant service of the personnel from Troop A who lost their lives in the line of duty. Trooper Lawrence W. Lakeman, Kevin P. Dobson, William P. Keane, Ross M. Riley, Joseph J. Mecca Jr., Jennifer M. Czarnecki, Brian N. Rovnak, and other fallen heroes will be remembered and honored.

Troop A Commander Major Stanley J. Edwards III will lead the ceremony which will commence promptly at 11:00 a.m. A heartfelt tribute will be paid to the brave men and women who dedicated their lives to serving and protecting the community. The honor roll will include a group of troopers who made the ultimate sacrifice while on duty.
