This fall, Audible is bringing some fresh laughter to our ears with two exciting new comedy podcasts. The lineup features notable stars like Glen Powell, Nicholas Braun, Taraji P. Henson, and Tracee Ellis Ross.

The first podcast, titled The Best Man’s Ghostwriter, follows Nate, voiced by Glen Powell. He’s a speechwriter tasked with helping write best man speeches. Along the way, he connects with one of his clients, Dan, voiced by Nicholas Braun, through a podcast that dives into the often silly world of male friendships. This podcast is brought to life by comedian Matthew Star, who has his own history as a best man’s ghostwriter.

Alongside Powell and Braun, The Best Man’s Ghostwriter boasts a star-studded cast including Ashley Park, D’Arcy Carden, and Zach Braff among others. Glen Powell shared his excitement about the project, saying he wanted to create a heartfelt and funny story revolving around the pressure of giving that epic best man speech.

On the other hand, Stranded is another comedy gem that features long-time best friends Janet and Serena, voiced by Tracee Ellis Ross and Taraji P. Henson. The duo tries to unwind and reconnect on a girls’ trip, but things take a wild turn when their party boat crashes. Suddenly, they find themselves stranded on a Caribbean cay as the only survivors.

Stranded is directed by Chris Bruno and David Howard Lee, with writing contributions from Shukri R. Abdi. This crazy adventure features a fantastic cast that includes Lamorne Morris, Jay Ellis, Tim Robinson, and Whoopi Goldberg. Taraji P. Henson expressed her thrill of working with such an amazing ensemble, noting how much fun it was to share this hilarious story with Audible listeners.

These two podcasts join a growing collection of comedic content from Audible, which already includes engaging titles like Hot White Heist with Bowen Yang and Hit Job with Keke Palmer and Pete Davidson. There’s no doubt that this fall’s offerings will keep audiences laughing.
