The National Testing Agency (NTA) is gearing up to release admit cards for the re-examination of the UGC NET soon. Candidates can download their admit cards and exam city slips from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The UGC NET re-examination is scheduled to take place from August 21 to September 4. In anticipation of the admit cards, the agency will first issue exam city slips, which will provide details about the location of the exam centers.

The exam city slip will include the name of the place where a candidate’s exam center will be, while more detailed information such as the exam date and time will be included on the admit cards.

This re-exam comes after the UGC NET exam held previously on June 18 was canceled due to concerns regarding the integrity of the test, as informed by the Education Ministry just a day later.

For this re-examination, candidates should be prepared for a computer-based test (CBT), which marks a change from the earlier pen-and-paper format used in June.

The June exam saw a higher registration and participation rate, with over 11,21,225 candidates applying, compared to 9,45,872 in the previous December session, resulting in an attendance of approximately 81 percent.

As the exam date draws near, candidates are encouraged to regularly check the official site for the latest updates regarding their admit cards and exam city details.
