Unclaimed $2.9 Million Lottery Ticket Sold in Randallstown, Maryland
RANDALLSTOWN, Md. — A substantial lottery prize remains unclaimed as of November 18, following the sale of a winning ticket in Randallstown, Maryland. The Maryland Lottery revealed that a FAST PLAY VIP Club Progressive ticket, worth an impressive $2,948,743, was purchased at J&S Liquors on Liberty Road. Despite the significant prize, no winner has stepped forward to claim their winnings.
The winning ticket, bought on November 14, was part of a record-breaking jackpot for the Maryland Lottery. «A FAST PLAY progressive jackpot just broke records at the Maryland Lottery and created a new multimillionaire in the process,» stated the agency in an announcement. This recent win surpasses the previous record of $2,620,246 set in October 2021 on the FAST PLAY Diamond Mine game.
The game, which concluded when the jackpot was hit, required players to purchase a $30 ticket. The numbers are pre-printed on the ticket, immediately notifying players of any winnings upon purchase. For facilitating the sale of the top-winning ticket, J&S Liquors receives a $1,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery.
The FAST PLAY VIP Club game was introduced on July 3, 2023. Lottery officials are urging anyone who bought tickets in that area to check their numbers and come forward if they hold the winning ticket.
