USA Skateboarders Shine at Paris Olympics
Jagger Eaton and Nyjah Huston put on an impressive show for Team USA at the skateboarding street event during the Paris Olympics on Monday.
Eaton, who snagged a bronze medal in Tokyo, stepped up his game this time and took home silver. He scored a total of 281.04 points in the final, just narrowly missing out on gold by a tenth of a point.
That elusive gold went to Japan’s Yuto Horigome, who successfully defended his title. Horigome pulled off an incredible final trick, scoring a whopping 97.08, which brought his total score to 281.14.
Meanwhile, Huston finished with a score of 279.38, earning him a bronze medal after a disappointing seventh place finish in Tokyo.
With 329 medal events across 32 sports, the Paris Olympics is proving to be a thrilling spectacle for fans and athletes alike.
