Veteran Nollywood Actor Oludotun Jacobs Debunks Death Rumors

Veteran Nollywood actor, Oludotun Jacobs, has refuted the circulating rumors about his demise as confirmed by columnist Betty Irabor on social media. Irabor emphatically stated that the actor is alive and well, urging the public to disregard the misleading information.

The false news of Jacobs’ passing had initially gained traction on various online platforms without any official validation. This is not the first time such baseless reports have surfaced about the esteemed actor, highlighting the prevalence of misinformation in the digital space.

Back in June 2020, there was a similar instance where speculations on Jacobs’ death spread rapidly across social media platforms, only to be debunked later by the spokesperson of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Monalisa Chinda-Coker.

Fast forward to August 2022, another wave of unfounded rumors concerning Jacobs’ demise surfaced. On this occasion, his wife, Joke Jacobs, intervened to quash the misleading information and even threatened legal action against those behind the false reports.
