Victoria Jackson, a familiar face from «Saturday Night Live,» shared some heartbreaking news about her health on social media. The comedian, who starred on SNL from 1986 to 1992, revealed that she has been diagnosed with an inoperable tumor in her windpipe.

Jackson explained that doctors told her they cannot remove the tumor, which she described as ‘the marble in my chest.’ She is facing potential suffocation due to its location. To manage the situation, she mentioned that she would be starting a treatment known as Ribociclib, which is intended to shrink the tumor.

In a candid video update, Jackson reflected on her life, stating, “I’ve had a fantastic life.” She expressed her desire to witness certain milestones, like her grandson’s birth in October and her daughter Aubrey having a baby. She mentioned feeling comforted by her faith, sharing that she felt God was asking if she was ready to come home.

Despite the grim prognosis she outlined, saying people taking the same medication typically live about 32.6 months, Jackson maintained a positive outlook. Her journey is being documented in a series titled “Is the Cancer Back?” on Instagram, where she continues to share her experiences with her followers.

Throughout her career, Jackson became known for her comedic talent and quirky impressions, contributing to various shows beyond SNL, including «The X-Files» and «Sesame Street.» With her health struggles becoming public, fans continue to rally around her during this challenging time.
