Sunny Uk Weather In September

As we step into September, many of us are wondering what kind of weather to expect in the UK. After a warm and sunny August, will the upcoming month keep the summer vibes alive, or will it be time to grab our jumpers?

The Met Office has shared some positive news for UK residents as we head into September. The forecast for the first week suggests we can look forward to warm and dry conditions. It states, ‘During the first week of September, a good deal of dry and settled weather is likely across the country.’ Although there might be some rain, most areas are expected to enjoy drier than average weather.

Weather experts from Netweather are also optimistic about the next few days. They predict a potential heatwave hitting the country just as kids head back to school. On Friday, August 30th, temperatures in the southeast could reach around 29C, and Saturday, August 31st, might see even warmer weather with highs possibly hitting 30C. Other regions in the UK aren’t left out either, with temperatures expected to be around 26-29C.

However, by the second week of September, things may start to shift. The Met Office noted that confidence in the settled weather continuing decreases, suggesting a mix of different weather patterns. Expect spells of wet weather mixed with drier periods. After a warm start, temperatures will likely cool down in the northwest while remaining warm to average in the southeast.
