Welcome to the Royal Family: Princess Rajwa and Crown Prince Hussein Celebrate the Birth of Their Daughter
In wonderful news from Jordan, Princess Rajwa Al Hussein and Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II have joyfully announced the birth of their first child, a beautiful baby girl named Princess Iman. The little princess was born on August 3rd, and her arrival has brought great happiness to the royal family.
The Royal Hashemite Court shared the delightful announcement, highlighting that Princess Iman is the first grandchild of Queen Rania and King Abdullah II. A special moment was captured as the King and Queen met their granddaughter for the first time at Al Hussein Medical City, with Crown Prince Hussein proudly carrying her.
All the siblings of Crown Prince Hussein were present, including Prince Hashem and Princess Salma, eager to welcome their new niece. The court noted how the couple would love well-wishers to consider donating to the Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, rather than sending gifts or flowers, showing their commitment to helping others.
Reflecting on this cherished moment, Queen Rania posted on social media with a touching photo, expressing her overwhelming happiness, stating, ‘Iman, you’ve already got a hold of my heart. Our family has never been happier!’
The King also shared his joy, thanking God for the arrival of their granddaughter and congratulating Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa. It’s a beautiful day for the royal family, marked with love and gratitude for their firstborn.
This joyful news comes shortly after Princess Rajwa’s pregnancy was announced earlier in the year. The Royal Court had shared their excitement back in April, looking forward to this treasured occasion. The couple tied the knot in a spectacular wedding last summer, attended by many notable guests and celebrated by people across Jordan and beyond.
