Wendy's Krabby Patty Burger Promotion

Wendy’s has announced plans to introduce a Krabby Patty burger, inspired by the iconic sandwich from Nickelodeon‘s animated series, «SpongeBob SquarePants.» This exciting collaboration marks the 25th anniversary of the beloved show.

According to an internal memo dated August 16, the Krabby Patty burger will be available starting October 8. The promotion will extend to customers in the United States, Canada, and Guam. The memo details that the burger will consist of a premium cheeseburger made with Wendy’s fresh, never frozen beef, topped with fresh produce and a unique Krabby Patty sauce.

In addition to the burger, Wendy’s plans to introduce a new dessert called the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty. This dessert features the classic Vanilla Frosty combined with a Pineapple Mango puree, designed to evoke the underwater theme of «SpongeBob SquarePants.»

The memo expresses optimism regarding consumer reception, stating, «This is an exciting moment for Wendy’s, and we anticipate that both QSR (quick service restaurant) consumers and ‘SpongeBob’ fans will turn out in a big way for this limited-time experience.» The Krabby Patty meal will be available until November 11.

While the internal memo has generated buzz, a spokesperson for Wendy’s commented on the situation, saying, «While we can’t confirm what’s coming down Wendy’s innovation pipeline, we can share that we’re always looking to bring fans new menu items inspired by our fans’ cravings.»
