Winter Storm Brings Significant Snowfall to Tri-State Area
The Tri-State area, encompassing parts of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, experienced its first significant snowfall of the season on November 22, 2024. Various locations reported substantial snow accumulations as residents adjusted to the sudden winter shift.
According to the National Weather Service, some of the heaviest snowfall occurred in Upstate New York, particularly in the Catskills region. Notably, the town of Delhi recorded the highest snowfall at 16.5 inches. Meanwhile, nearby Franklin experienced slightly less accumulation, with 16.3 inches of snow.
