Wisconsin State Fair Announces New Main Stage Partnership and First Headliner for 2025
Wisconsin State Fair officials have made two significant announcements as preparations for the 2025 fair continue. The center stage of the fair, commonly hosting major performances, will now be known as the Bank Five Nine Main Stage. This change comes as part of a renewed partnership with Wisconsin-based Bank Five Nine, effective since 2020.
Shari Black, CEO of Wisconsin State Fair Park, highlighted the ongoing cooperation with Bank Five Nine, emphasizing their shared dedication to enhancing the experience for fairgoers. «Since this collaboration began in 2020, Bank Five Nine is always ready to dive into new initiatives that always center around making lifelong Fair memories,» Black stated. «Enhancing our Fairgoer experience is our biggest motivation as we plan each State Fair, and we are excited to be in lock step with Bank Five Nine as we move forward in this new venture.»
Additionally, in a highly anticipated entertainment announcement, three-time GRAMMY Award winner Darius Rucker is set to perform as a headliner on August 8th, 2025, marking the first publicized main act for the upcoming fair. This performance will also kick off Rucker’s American tour dates for the year.
Rucker’s most recent work includes his album «Carolyn’s Boy,» featuring the single «Never Been Over,» a collaboration with artist Jennifer Nettles. He also made headlines with the release of his memoir «Life’s Too Short,» earlier this year.
Tickets for the Darius Rucker performance will become available to the public on November 22nd at 10 a.m. Interested attendees can access ticketing details through the fair’s official platforms.
The Wisconsin State Fair remains a staple event, drawing diverse crowds for its combination of entertainment, food, and traditional fair attractions. As the event is still months away, further details and performance line-ups are expected to be revealed in the lead-up to August 2025.
