Women Convicted in Toledo Dollar Store Robbery Case
Deanna Graves, one of the women involved in a robbery incident at a Family Dollar in Toledo, has been convicted after taking a plea deal in court.
Graves entered a guilty plea to a Robbery charge, following her initial Aggravated Robbery charges alongside Keira Triplett.
The incident unfolded when Toledo Police responded to reports of a robbery at the Family Dollar on East Boundary that transpired around 9:00 a.m. on March 21.
It was revealed that Deanna Graves, 36, was confronted by the store manager for alleged shoplifting and escalated the situation by threatening the manager with a knife, reportedly making two swinging attempts to harm her.
After the altercation, Graves fled the scene with stolen merchandise, getting into a gray Kia Forte driven by accomplice Keira Triplett, 26.
Law enforcement managed to apprehend the suspects by intercepting the vehicle, leading to the arrest of Graves and Triplett without further incident.
Deanna Graves is slated for sentencing on June 28, while Keira Triplett is scheduled to appear in court on July 17 to address the charges stemming from the Dollar Store robbery.
