Women’s State of Origin II took place last night, capturing a solid audience of 1.07 million viewers nationwide. The event saw an increase in viewership from Game I, with particularly strong numbers in Sydney and Brisbane regions.

Despite the success of Women’s State of Origin II, Seven Network managed to clinch an overall win for the night. Notable entertainment programs such as Tipping Point, drawing 735,000 viewers, and The Chase, with 686,000 viewers, helped secure Seven’s victory.

Other programs that garnered significant viewership included 7:30 with 595,000 viewers, MasterChef Australia with 519,000 viewers, and Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly with 319,000 viewers in select cities.

Following these, Restoration Australia attracted 454,000 viewers, Grand Designs with 381,000 viewers, Taskmaster Australia with 326,000 viewers, and The Hospital: In the Deep End with 225,000 viewers.

On Seven, AFL coverage raked in 569,000 viewers. Meanwhile, Seven News claimed the top spot with 1.3 million viewers, while Home & Away followed with 646,000 viewers. Crime Investigation Australia garnered 209,000 viewers in the areas it was broadcasted.

Nine News was close behind with 1.2 million viewers, with A Current Affair pulling in 1.00 million viewers. ABC News drew 832,000 viewers, and Hard Quiz followed with 391,000 viewers. Antiques Roadshow and a rerun of Tony Armstrong’s Extra-Ordinary Things garnered 244,000 and 145,000 viewers, respectively.

In the entertainment lineup, The Project attracted 343,000 viewers, while Deal or No Deal and 10 News First drew 329,000 and 324,000 viewers, respectively. Law & Order: SVU rounded up the evening with 148,000 viewers.

Over at SBS, SBS World News drew 187,000 and 132,000 viewers for its broadcasts, while DNA Family Secrets and MasterMind captured 175,000 and 95,000 viewers, but The Responder trailed with 61,000 viewers.

During the daytime slots, The Morning Show saw 248,000 and 153,000 viewers tuning in, while Today Extra attracted 183,000 and 133,000 viewers.
