Wrestling Star Jade Cargill Joins Paradigm’s Sports Group
Jade Cargill, a renowned name in professional wrestling, has signed with Paradigm‘s newly launched division, The Sports Group, for comprehensive representation, Variety has exclusively reported. This move places her among a distinguished roster of professional athletes and iconic teams managed by Paradigm.
Cargill is the latest WWE wrestler to join Paradigm, aligning herself with fellow wrestling celebrities such as Drew McIntyre, Liv Morgan, Tiffany Stratton, Damian Priest, and CM Punk. Her career, though relatively new in the wrestling arena since 2020, has been marked by rapid successes and milestones.
Starting her professional wrestling journey with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Cargill quickly established herself as a formidable athlete. Her tenure at AEW saw her feuding with top-tier wrestlers and securing the TBS Championship just over a year following her debut. Notably, she maintained a 60-match unbeaten streak and held the championship title for an impressive 508 days.
In 2023, Cargill made headlines when it was revealed she had been seen at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. A video capturing her arrival there amassed over 20 million views, demonstrating her wide appeal and anticipation among fans.
Subsequently, WWE confirmed Cargill’s signing, announcing her as a key addition. Her in-ring debut was highly anticipated and materialized at the «Royal Rumble» in January 2024. During this event, Cargill showcased her wrestling prowess by eliminating notable stars such as Nia Jax and Becky Lynch, and participated in a memorable staredown with Bianca Belair.
Cargill and Belair later formed a tag team partnership, capturing the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship in May 2024. Although they briefly lost the titles at «Clash at the Castle: Scotland» in June, they reclaimed them at «Bash in Berlin» in August, continuing to hold the championship titles.
Jade Cargill’s background extends beyond wrestling. She holds a master’s degree in child psychology and practiced as a child psychologist until 2019. Additionally, she worked as a fitness model and commands a substantial following of approximately 2 million across her Instagram, TikTok, and X platforms. Together with her husband, former Cincinnati Reds all-star Brandon Phillips, she owns the Women’s Professional Fastpitch team, the Texas Smoke.
