Xiaomi Unveils New Tablets: Redmi Pad Pro 5G and Redmi Pad SE 4G
Xiaomi has just launched two new tablets in India: the Redmi Pad Pro 5G and the Redmi Pad SE 4G. This exciting announcement was made today, and everyone is eager to know what these devices bring to the table.
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G boasts an impressive 12.1-inch 2.5K display, offering a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits. It also features Gorilla Glass 3 on the front for added protection. With a powerful 10,000 mAh battery and a 33 W charger included in the box, you’ll have plenty of juice to last through your day.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and offers storage options of up to 256 GB, which can be expanded up to a colossal 1.5TB with a microSD card. Plus, it’s the first tablet to launch with Xiaomi‘s new HyperOS operating system.
The camera setup includes an 8 MP lens on both the rear and the front, which should be good enough for basic photography and video calls. It also supports Dolby Atmos for an enhanced audio experience and comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
If you’re interested in accessories, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G supports the Redmi Smart Keyboard and Redmi Smart Pen, which are sold separately. Pricing for this tablet starts at ₹24,999 for the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage version, while the 256 GB option will set you back ₹26,999.
On the other hand, we have the Redmi Pad SE 4G, which features a smaller 8.7-inch HD LCD display with a decent 90 Hz refresh rate. This tablet is driven by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and comes with up to 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, expandable up to 2 TB via microSD.
The camera setup here includes an 8 MP camera on the back and a 5 MP camera on the front. With a 6,650 mAh battery and an 18 W charger, it’s a solid option for everyday tasks.
The pricing for the Redmi Pad SE 4G is very attractive, starting at ₹10,999 for the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage version, while the 128 GB option is priced at ₹11,999.
Both tablets will be available for purchase on Xiaomi’s website, as well as on popular platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, starting from August 2. So, mark your calendars!
Additionally, Xiaomi is also releasing a limited edition of the Xiaomi 14 CiVi, featuring a unique Panda design with a dual-texture finish. This model includes a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and a Leica-branded 50 MP primary camera, along with a 4,700 mAh battery, priced at ₹45,999.
