College Gameday In Eugene Oregon

ESPN‘s iconic pregame show, College GameDay, will be setting up camp in Eugene, Oregon, for Week 7 of the college football season. This week’s location is significant as it precedes a highly anticipated matchup between the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes and the No. 3 Oregon Ducks on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

The game at Autzen Stadium marks one of the most pivotal contests of the regular season, with both teams among the few undefeated squads from the Power Four conferences. This encounter is the first between two top-five teams at Autzen Stadium, and it has substantial implications for the Big Ten championship and the College Football Playoff.

Despite the excitement, one notable absence from the College GameDay crew will be Lee Corso, who will miss his second consecutive week due to being “under the weather.” Corso, who is 89 years old, has been a staple of the show since its inception in 1987.

Kirk Herbstreit will also be leaving the show early to commentate on the TexasOklahoma matchup, another significant game of the week. Herbstreit will be alongside Chris Fowler for the Red River Rivalry broadcast.
